We are looking for a warehouse associates for multiple warehouse facilities in Delta, Richmond and Surrey.
Duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure the product being packed is in the right proper container, tray, bag, box, and to ensure standards are followed when weighing product
- Ensure all production materials are available, set up machinery, change equipment, operate & monitor equipment, and replenish materials as needed;
- Responsible for general duties involving physical handling and storage of product, materials, machinery and supplies
- Follow the required company SOP’s, GMP’s, and Health and Safety Standards
- Prepare the packaging line for operation by filling the equipment with products, boxes, bags, lids, labels
- Ensure accuracy of all production data including quantities, dates, labels, and packaging
- Effective running of all relevant equipment & reporting any equipment defects to the Supervisor
- Ensure that all the daily operational goals of the respective facility are met in due time.
- Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, purchase orders, Customer Service requirements and other records to determine priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
- Oversee outgoing shipment activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments.
- Maintain cleanliness & sanitation of equipment and assigned area
- Cross-training to rotate through various positions on the production line
- Conduct regular quality checks to minimize non-conformity
- Ensure that all non-conforming products are placed in a scrap bin for rework or disposal
- Execute necessary paperwork and documentation, including recording production, deliveries either electronically or manually as required
- Other duties as assigned
